My name is Imal, my DJ name is GetMelo. I am 29 years old. I was born in South Auckland and now currently reside in Hamilton, New Zealand. I am Samoan and Cook Island and have always had a passion for music since I was young. 

I have entered the music industry as a DJ in 2023 but have always taken a huge interest in music from my home. I have explored a wide variety of music genres which has widened my knowledge of music as a whole. 
I have found my pocket in the sound of both past and present Hip Hop and R&B as well as Afrobeat, Amapiano, House, Jersey Club, Baille Funk, D&B and EDM (Electronic Dance Music)
